Top picks: fried shrimps, olives + fish of the day (corvina / sea bass, tuna, king prawns were top!). Even people who usually don’t like seafood, will love it. Service is amazing - organized, friendly, super fast. They know what they do and do it on a top level. Definitely will be back.- Group size

You‘ve got to love this place. Located above the fish market hall in Sagres. Lovely hosts explaining all the details of the fish that they offer. The ambiente is so authentic, this is a must visit! Pick your fresh fish and wait till you‘re served.

We struggled at the very beginning with the staff who showed us the fishes (maybe some language barrier), but we sorted things out at the end so not a big problem. We came here for lunch and left very satisfied! The fish is straight from sea to table. There is a chalkboard that lets you know what the day's catch is. We had grilled sea bream and sea bass. You are shown the fish and the cost for each one (it's by the kilo). They grill it for you and sides of salad and French fries or boiled potatoes are included with the meal. The fish was perfectly grilled and so fresh and tasty. We also had the garlic shrimp dish that was delicious with plenty of garlic. Washed it down with a nice cold beer. All in all a fantastic meal. The staff are very friendly and also speak English and Spanish.

Amazing fish! Really friendly staff / owners. Best restaurant in town. Yes you have to queue but it's more than worth it. Only managed to squeeze in 3 visits during our stay, wished our schedule would have allowed us to visit every day!

One of the best restaurants we tried on our trip to Portugal. Fish menu is updated daily depending on what the catch of the day is and the selection is huge. Staff are incredibly friendly and very knowledgable and give their personal recommendations on what to try. You pay for the fish per kg and sides are included. The fish itself is super fresh and cooked to absolute perfection. A must try when in Sagres!

Absolutely incredible restaurant. You can see the catch of the day and fishmongers working beneath the restaurant. You select your fish and they weigh and prepare it for you. I would absolutely go back and recommend it to everyone.

If you come here, trust what they tell you because they know best. The fresh fish is cooked perfectly, and you can choose whichever fish you would like from their display. Make sure to try the goose neck barnacles, they may look strange but they are so tasty, and our waiter explained how to eat them tableside.
If you are anywhere in the Algarve, this place is worth checking out!

This place is a gem. Family run fish restaurant with fair prices... You pick your fish, they weigh it and give you a price, they cook it, you devour it, and then enjoy a nice dessert. Couldn't have been better. (first time eating red mullet, soooo delicious) 😋
